when you only pull the axle out part way, do you need to support them? i was wondering if the axle weight might hard on the seals. any tricks?? or just do it and don't worry.
I usually replace those seals anyways if I pull the shafts (just to be on the safe side) The seals are cheap...replacing brakes isnt when the seals leak..

I would probably support them with something if you arent replacing
