I got it figured out, after spending some time trying to get it out with a punch I gave up and just twisted it off. I'll figure out something for it later. Thanks for the info. 
I drilled it out and tapped it for a 1/4-20 bolt. Cut the head off the bolt and heated it to red hot and flattened it on the end on my anvil. Ground it to shape it and screwed it in with red loc-tite. Seems to work fine.
