follow 90Toypu's advice, get a quality manual...

then you can read up on
remove the shift knob boots, shift levers
drop the front and rear drive line
remove the wires for backup and 4 whl indicator lights
support tranny/transfer, remove cross member.
lower entire unit down slightly (watching for engine obstructions)
remove starter
remove clutch slave (leave attached to line for now)
remove exhaust pipe clamp
Support engine
remove all bolts holding tranny to engine
Lower tranny/tcase assembly down and out.

to reinstall, reverse order.

I think that's about it unless I forgot a step someone else will catch.
