Isnt the american market along with i think the european market the only two that have IFS in their Toyota 4x4s? Arent the rest still SA...?
I think even going back to a SA would be enough for the toyota to get its foot back in the 4x4 scene.
I havent sat in an FJ or the previous FJ 40 to make an argument like you have... but from the looks of it... i can agree.
and i do agree with the rest of your post as well.
Well the hilux pick ups and 4runners lost the SA in 97 but all the land cruisers still have them (along with diesels and 5 speeds). I think IFS became an option over seas, where as it was the ONLY option here. ive seen hiluxes of the same body style with ifs, and others with sa.
