Would the yard will take it back and give ya the correct replacement, or a refund???? I don't think it will work becouse you will loose so much compression. The combustion chambers are bigger on the early head, and there is only x amount of fuel going by those valves. If it would work you may wind up having a 4 cylinder that feels like a brigs and stratton.
