X2 on that, where did you get it I would like one myself?
I bought a surplus grenade and welded it to my shifter. There's two types readily available to me...
If you want to send me your shifter and $30 for my time to drive a half hour to get the grenade, the cost of the grenade, and welding it together, I'd be happy to do it up for you. The pineapple grenade (the one I used) is about 2.5 lbs or so and makes shifting a TON easier. It literally falls into the next gear. The baseball grenade (smooth round one) is a little lighter and a little wider; I might use it as the t-case shifter, but my tranny shifter bushing is worn so it'd hit the baseball grenade if it were on the t-case stick.
Shamb- I guess I do both. Not so much mud because it's a PITA to wash afterwards, but there's been times when my 3RZ in the Taco has barely had the power I've needed to climb a long steep hill (upwards of 45 degrees or as long as 1/4 mile). I guess a 4.3 is in my future, then.
