The swap is relatively easy.  I had to do a 3" body lift on mine for the reason that the distributor hit the firewall.  But if you clean up the original mounts and use mounts off of a '76 blazer it drops the motor a good 2 1/2 inches and you can run a 3 inch tall air cleaner.  Wiring was simple, you just remove the computer on the passenger side quarter panel, and splice in your ignition, coil, temp, and oil sensors.  As for the front drive shaft I extended it between 6 to 8 inches.  You have to run a short style water pump, unless if you relocate the radiator.  I was actually able to use the original alternator and power steering pumps with the original brackets and some fab work.
