But at the same time, if you don't have the skills, and do have the $$, an IFS life isn't all bad. I've hammered mine
and people on here can attest to that. My truck made it just fine on the 'con with a 4" Pro comp stage II lift. Sure, knowing what I know now, a SAS would have been cheaper and better, and I'll do that eventually, but for now, I'm sticking with the IFS. If you avoid binding your tires, get lower gearing, and don't hammer down on the rocks, you aren't going to pop much. I've only broken 2 IFS axles, and both were doing something stupid that I know better than to do.
