seriously though, check out the price differences on the "ready to run" 3rd's that marlin sells. There is a big hike in the price between the V6 and the 4 cyl (when you buy the same type of gears and locker). I don't think the price difference is just to compensate for a different pinion bearing
, but I have been wrong before. I would give Marlin a call and check out the exact differences (but 79coyote might know too...along with a lot of other people).
