My rule of thumb is anything over 33's on a daily driver 5.29's with a 22r or re. If its a part time driver and wheeler i would say 4.88's are fine becasue they are stonger but 5.29s will give you a lower crawl ratio. Hell for a trail only rig 4.10s are great casue there a dime a dozen and strong. Plus you can make your gearng up in the transfer cases which IMHO is were it should be. Hope that helps.
