I bet you're wrong, the pegs ain't but about an inch high, I can't see that doing 
in mud but spin.
Lets test it how about you have mark widdle a set out of a tree stump, build the fourwheeler from a block of alum and then we can test that one out, or better yet just fit them to the mammoth, who knows it may look good on a set of 63" wagon wheels!!
