What year is your truck  I have found that even though 22RE's look the same, the sensors aren't  :dunno: I have an 87 & dropped in an RE from an 85. Used a 87 harness with the 85 ECU & found that the timing was 30deg off but ran excellent. I couldn't time the engine due to the harness is different. I put an 86/87 ECU & was able to get the timing closer but not good enough to pass smog here in Cali. I then swapped out the throtlte body for the 87 with the 87 TPS & got the timing perfect. I just smogged it last week. Basically 85 ECU & harness is different from 86 & up. 86 & 87 use the same ECU so I would assume that everything else for those 2 years are the same. 88 ECU is different than the prior years. Thats as far as I got in doing research on injectors, TPS & ECU's. I hope this helps you so you don't go through what I did  :twocents:  :crossed:
