It's not a junk turbo.. How many mid-late 1980s turbos can make it over 100k miles?
It was a turbo hooked to a hard line exhaust system (no flex tube) -so it tends to crack.
Performance wise, it's a bit on the small side.
Talk to guys at the gpop shop about rebuilding it. If it's cracked (exhaust side) hold on to your wallet.
Consider a CT26 (requires some modifications) or a t3 instead.
