i thought you had to change the oil pan unless running hysteer with lift because otherwise the clearance isnt in the right place.... thats what i was told way back when... and the reason i got an oil pan to put my 22r 2wd engine into my 4x4
i don't know, mine was out of a 92 2wd and i didn't change the oil pan.  it clears the highsteer but is a little close to the ram.

I told you that, jim.  this is what happens when you don't pay attention.  I said, with stock springs, you can't run the 2wd pan.  when the suspension compresses, the sump will smack the housing.  I put a hole in a 2wd pan in a 4wd truck with NO LIFT driving on the street.  Lifted, however, like Brads truck, there is clearance to make it work.
