how much boost do u think is safe for this motor. and more on the govenor, with out the butterfly plate does it try to run away on u. is the pump vacume controlled from the intake manifold, there might be a way to build a controll to the pump, and get rid of all the unnessacary stuff. got any pics of the supply and return lines?
