I have been running dual orbitals for 3 years with no isolator. never had a problem. just hook them parallel. isolator is to stop the batteries from draining each other. but this is not as much an issue if you get the batteries at the same time (and same numbers) from the store and hook them up. the problem occurs when you use one old battery and one new one. or a pair of old ones.

But then you have no selectability...all the cool guys have switches! :gap:
