I have the same setup on my '87 2wd with a convertor and it is loud. I can only imagine how much louder it woul be without a cat. Whatever you do, make sure the tailpipe is routed out the side of the bed and not straight down. Mine used to be straight down after the muffler and it reverberated between the bottom of the bed and the road like you wouldn't believe. Don't get me wrong, I like the sound of my setup, but it's definately not quiet.
