Ok got the header installed and it leaks?I have a couple questions.My exhaust manifold was missing the rear bottom bolt(under the master cylinder) and I went to a friends house to look at both of his 4 runners and neither one of them had a rear bottom bolt?I do need this right?So I went to napa and got a replacment bolt.
Put the header on per instructions even put hi temp rtv on the gasket like the instructions said.Had a hell of a time getting the bolts in the smog tube to line up.And it still leaks.And Ideals?And the bottom two middle bolts have a hole between them and when running air comes out of it?My stock manifold was solid between these bolts?.The hole is not threaded so do i need to make a block off plate for this?
So my questions are,
1 Do i need the bottom rear bolt?
2 What about the hole between the bottom middle bolts?Block off plate?
3 What is the best kind and place to buy a new gasket for the header and collecter?
4 Any ideals on how to do this right where it dosen't leak this time?
