It's been a pretty good truck for the last six years.  You can still get OEM parts.  I've gone through two transfer cases and a third member and found them in salvage yards on the internet.  With the engine swap I'll have all Toyota running gear.  If I had known at the time that I bought the Rocky the stuff that I know now I would have bought a 4Runner. But one thing leads to another and another and another and now I have too much money wrapped up into it to start over.  I have heard that Toyota owns 51% of Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd.  Take a look at the rear axle as it looks like a Toyota 7 1/2".

As for the SAS I used the stock Rocky steering box, rear flat springs and the Daihatsu drive shaft flanges mounted right up to the Toyota thirds.

Don't have any good wheeling pics but here's a side shot.

I keep telling myself that it kinda looks like 2/3's of a 4Runner...good luck with the swap.
1991 Daihatsu Rocky, 3RZ-fe, Marlin super heavey duty clutch and pressure plate, Marlin W56-C-HD, duals, Marlin twinstick, three link front with Fox AirShox, 35's, Toy axles, 5.29:1, ARB F&R etc.
