Don't waste money anywhere else. From what friends and aquaintences have told me they paid for a tranny rebuild, you could have marlin rebuild it for the same and know it's done right. If everything else appears to be good, I'd lean heavily that way, but if you could take your truck to marlin's shop they could atleast help better diagnose it.
