It will give you more travel, the natural response of a sway-bar to push back when the truck axle travels causing the sway-bar to twist is its job. By removing it you allow the axle to travel freely. There of course will be a little more sway in doing this on road, my suggestion would be to take it off drive it around on and offroad and see if you like the difference or if it scares you. It doesn't take long to remove so you can figure out if you like the results.
