I always had great luck with BFG All-Terrains, they are spendy but 50,000 miles later you'll be glad you did, not to mention they do extremely well in wet and snowy conditions.
P.S. they lasted 50k on my moms 2nd gen 4runner, your truck is probably a little heavier, but I bet if you rotate them regularly you'll still get 40,000
