There is no way you could run Chevy leaves on a 4Runner with out the frame and springs sticking out passed the body on anything more than around 13" Even with 13" you still have to cut the frame up to the shackle hangers. With chevies that rear hanger needs to be moved rearward.
I decided to go with f-one-fittys. I got a pair from A wrecking yard. They are 53" without any load and they strech to 56" with the weight of a Ford truck on them. They are 4leaf +overload. I plan to start by taking out the overload and bottom leaf and see how it works out. For a 2wd leaf they have some serious arch to them.
