I have an 83' toyota that i took the body lift off of, and everything went very smooth. i think that it only really took about 2 hrs. i replace it all with a poly body mount kit from NWOR. the kit is good quality, but i had to drill out the washers to accomodate for the 1/2" holes from the body lift bolts before. i used grade 8 bolts, my cab ain't going anywhere. my bumper just had metal brackets bolted to it,and removing them was not an issue. losing the body lift was the best thing i've done, and the truck handles way better(and those poly mounts quiet the ride down alot). good luck!
