Re: 87 radiator core and wires?(more pics, new ?)
« on: Apr 08, 2004, 06:22:02 PM »
OK I got it running today. I got 3" from the radiator to the pullys. with the stock 7M radiator I had in there I only had 1/2"

My question is.

I need to make a shroud and use electric puller fans. How much space do I need to have inside the shroud? (between the radiator and the inside of the shroud) Plan to just make a box, and bolt the fan/fans to it where the motor wont get hit by a belt or pully.

Here are some of the latest pics.

New Engine in the truck.
If you look close you can see the loom from the fuse box to the firewall and across. I am still leaving the bat and headlight wires across the core. Since I will take the bat out is I am tearing the front off. And the headlight is any easy plug to get to. The other wires went in without splicing since I drilled the hole.

16 days till i leave for Moab. And I still need to replace the front springs, adn figure out how to mount the bumper. I also need to get the AC running, but that won't keep me from going. Just make me more comfortable.
