A buddy of mine was in the same boatas you and he went to
www.starband.com and has this system. It gets cheaper each year you have it! According to the residental listing, $70 a month for the first year, $60 the sec year, and $50 the third if I remember right! It's not as fast as higher end DSL or Cable, but it's alot faster than dialup. I have the basic dsl (256k)and I love it. It sure beats the hell out of 45.3k.
