I am getting a new 2004 taco 4x4 v6 extra cab trd. Locking rear diff, and superchargable V6 are great! I have a 89 4runner v6 (removable top). I would go with the others ideas, I want the new taco because it is NEW. It will kick some ass offroad, but if you want a SERIOUS rig the 85 4runner or tuck is the way to go. First year of EFI on the 22RE, and the last year for solid axle! I think toyota should release a tacoma with solid axle (as a option) for those who would like trouble free cheaper way of building a rig.
