AAL  ???   how many times have i gotta tell you guys, :smack:   full length is best,   on my front and rear packs i have 3 full length leafs,  i flex purty good for not having a flexy suspension,
my springsa are 7 leafs rear and 6 up front, a mixture of 2 1/2 inch wide thin chevy leafs from a 2wd s10  mixed in with the stock toy springs  and i have some old blackdiamond add a leafs for load carrying
