Actually what marlin said is that you can use a 22re block with a 20r head with some minor modifcations, that he has done it but that you can't bolt the efi to the 20r head. So someone like me could use that engine because I am carbed, but if you have and efi truck you are wasting your time since the fuel injection could not be used.
