yea use a 2x2 1/4" for the outer portion and 1 3/4x1 3/4" 1/4" for the inner slip section.
Make sure it fits nice and somewhat tight.. obviously you dont want to jam it together but in the same sense you dont want slop because slop = death wobble.
The better the fit the happier you'll be when that front DL is spinning like mad.
