You need to take a step back, and look at the sitiation, and decide whether you are doing somethign for yourself, or trying to please others. I spent a long time trying to please my parents, and was miserable. I still struggle sometimes, but I finally said screw it, pissed thm off, hurt them a little, but our relationship is better than ever, and they are learning too. Learning that if someone life is chosen by another, it really isnt their life, and they arent really the person that they seem to be.
