I guess we all have our own driving styles .... my Toy rear end has held up very well 36" TSL's and a 350.  I have NEVER :shake:  broken an axle or a R&P and yes I have done about all you can do to in abusing it.   :hammerhead:  :flamer:   Reverse to first, power breaking on wet and dry pavement, the tranny has a very aggressive shift kit and when it goes from 2nd to drive at 5000 R's..... :_order: BAM!!!!!  4yrs running now with only a carrier to show for carnage. :thumbs:

When you say your gonna flip the axle upside down for high pinion use, which way would your axles then turn?????? :headscratch:  :idea:  :suprised:
