Thanks. and the reason why i thought of using some kind of sythetic oil was because the system no longer has any freon going thru it and why not give it something better for lubrication. The main reason why a/c systems use ester and pag oils is because there combatability with the freon and the ability for them to not effect the properties of the freon.
