My bolts are pretty tight too. Maybe thats why I haven't had any problems. I have a 5 1/2" shackle back, then the stock chevy down for about 2 inches of lift. The top shackle never drops more than three or four inches off of the frame when I'm articulating. And it doesn't bang on the frame like I thought it would.
