Well I drove around for a while with 33"s and 4.88's in my 81, but it reved a little high on the freway. I have a 4cyl, its simply a great engine that you can enhance enough to match the power of the 3.0. I was debating v-6 but many members on the board will tell you to go the way of the cyl. I plan on getting an LC engineering stroker motor as soon as this one gets tired.

I was really suprised with this engine to be honest, on some mountain passes on the AK highway there are 8% and even 10% grades and it did fairly well even though I had to hit third gear. 5.29s are bit weaker pinion but I have not heard of too many guys breaking them.

Heated garage floor!  you can drop your pop tart on the floor and it wil still be warm when you find it later!
