Well I havent updated this thing in a while. I basically made a suicide run to Alaska with a recently built up truck!!!

I finished cleaning up a few welds etc.... some wiring, installed a gps etc.....

Driveshafts were sort of a nightmare, I dropped them off a week prior to picking them up and I am still waiting for my front d-shaft.

I basically had about 20 minutes to test drive the truck after the SAS, Rear perches, dual cases etc.... I literally bolten in the driveshaft, drove around the block, checked torque on everything and packed up and started driving to AK!

I must say I was very very nervous most of the way up, but the truck drive quite nicely and I am very impressed. I stopped every now and then checked to make sure everything was still holding up and 3,300 miles later no issues to speak of.

The bilstein shocks are AMAZING. I was hauling A$$ down the Alaskan highway with a loaded down truck and it was soaking up bumps other trucks were catching air on!

If any of you ever get a chance to drive to AK I higly recommend it, its the most amazing road trip I have ever been on. There are simply amazing things to be seen along the way. I encountered several moos, bear and a few buffalo!

Here are some pics of the truck after.
Comedy is the last refuge of the nonconformist mind.
