Well the angle doesn't look too bad just sitting there but I don't think they should be acting like bump stops either.  Those springs have some arch to them to get so long when they flatten out.  I would maybe swap to like 1.5" longer shackle plates and see if they don't bottom out all the way.  Then you could add some legitimate bump stops.  If you still aren't getting what you want then I would split the difference between where your front hangers were and where they are.

I am getting so I like to put multiple holes in spring hangers so I can adjust things an inch or so after it's all burned in  :).

Your pickup looks awesome by the way.  Not too huge.  1st gen is my personal favorite.
