hhhhhmmm... Yeah... I  have done that on the street.... Killing the engine at the stop light, then using the starter to fire the engine in 1st gear.   BUT... have you ever tried to get off of a rockcrawling trail with NO clutch?  Please describe how you "feather" your truck with your starter?  :yikes:
