Re: Rear 3in lift

If the weather clears up tonight and I get home before dark I will post before and after pictures of my truck sitting on level ground to show how much it changed.

I actually installed my 4.5 inch Superlift to replace the 3.5 inch Pro Comp springs (rear blocks) that were on the truck when I purchased it.  I don't like blocks, it seems like the cheap way out and it has a negative effect on axle wrap; however, now that I have quality rear springs installed and need a tiny bit more lift, I don't feel to bad about 1 inch blocks.  The Alcan springs have the top axle wrap leaf so I am not too concerned about that being a problem.
1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.
