My '91 had a threaded nut, not just a hole.
Once you get the fronts mounted, you should be able to get the rears, the thickness of the carpet is likely keeping you from getting the inner rear lined up.
Will I need spacers? I am pretty sure the seats will look leaned in forward the middle if I don't have them.
