Winches are like auto makers now a days. If you know what you're doing you can even make a harbor freight winch almost as good as a warn. I know people who are running harbor freight and have been for a few years now and all they had to do was tear it apart and put some better grease in and put silicone on certain areas to keep water out. Now I personally was going to go with a HB winch but got a killer deal on an 8274, bumper and lights.
