looked at mine, i have an 85 with a w56 and have a skys dual case crossmember though but its in the stock position, its flush with the frame, just the little fin on the bottom of my tranny hangs a little less than a 1/2" below frame but that might be due to my blown out tcase mounts
What do you measure at the rear output flange?
