I never had brackets to mount my hard lines. Ghetto i know! Never ripped a line out though. Always had spare brake lines with me as well.
Thats how mine are now. I had one shop make a comment about it. If I decide to change it up one day then I might do something like petenewell mentioned, or double up some stock rear lines.
