When did they start making the Pre-runner style 2wd?
The first generation Taco had a Pre-Runner SR5 version, it was a 3.4 X-cab w/a small lift, larger tires(taller gears I believe), and an electric locking differential.

Nope, different IFS design, the 2wd upper control arms are 8" wide whereas the 4x4 are 12", 2wd torsion bars are lower mount whereas 4x4 are upper, etc., it would be a lot of work, an SAS would be easier.
'90 black X-cab mod'd 3.0, 33's/4.88's, rear ARB, custom bumpers, sliders, safari rack, etc.
'91 Blue X-cab 22re, 35's/5.29's,Truetrac front, ARB rear, dual cases, and custom Safari flatbed, bumper, interior.
