I don't know for sure, but in theory your O2 sensor is designed to work Worth the restrictive flow over a cat, therefore if you had no cat it would not make a difference :dunno: Just a thought, maybe it will work. :confused:

ya  the  cat  gets hot<pipe gets hot<  O2 gets hot :)   with no cat  the o2 is not at right temp.

I would avoid gutting your cat  for smog/inspetion reasons
