well to be honest it also really depends on your location in my opinion..which is one of the bigger factors
california, there is the "toyota tax" where everyone thinks their hunk of junk toyota is worth at least $4k no matter the condition because of the name
rust belt might have higher prices for cleaner ones, etc..
I got my sr5 for $3500 in great condition completely stock in california after years of searching and getting lucky.
