Ive heard some rumors about some rubbers being a low quality and some of a high quality  who has had real experience with the windshield

I've found some on ebay, but rumor had it they were the ones that didn't hold the test of time

I have a cracked windshield currently and am looking to replace  and am shopping for the best rubber

I got my rubber from the local glass shop about 5 years ago and have gone through 4 windshields since then always reusing the same rubber.

X2 on just using an oem gasket.

I had mine replaced with the windshield at Speedy Auto Glass about 4years ago. No issues so far.

Also I would not recommend anyone get their windshield replaced at speedy glass, they're windshields are low quality and so is their work. This is true for 2 windshield we've had done there. Never again will I go back.
