I have a 2 inch lift on my 4runner and I am planning on clearing 38's to 40's under it with all the fender trimming. I took the fender up to where the body flares out and opened it up from there. I build new inner wheel wells and welded them in and flared out the outer flares 3 inches. It is a lot of work, a lot, a lot of work but a supper low center of gravity. This is the build:
