Looks great! Depending on the gearing it looks like 35"s will fit the way it sits.  The 3.0 might have a hard time tuning 35's though.  I run 33's on my '85.  It has 4.10's gears and I turn about 2100 rmp at 75 mph, but then I have a 5.0 with .67 to 1 overdrive.  I'd like to go with 35's but I think that is too tall.

You're all a bunch of posers, dont bring your body lift talk to a rock crawling forum. If you want to be a bunch of pavement pounder showtruck talkers with your fancy, but worthless foglights, then find somewhere else. If you grow up and start caring more about the sport your pretending to be in, then you can come back. Untill then, stop your phobia of body damage and hit the rocks like a big boy.

i dont c whats wrong with a guy wanting to show off his rig. he asked a simple question, no need to call him a poser and stuff. i wasnt aware that this forum was for rockcrawlers only? my understanding was that it was a toyota 4x4 forum...so correct me if im wrong people. then to say your all a bunch of posers is odd because i know that midget mike...he posted, he beat the hell out of his previous rig and currently his new rig. now as for 90 runner who cares if he doesnt rock crawl...he wanted to share his rig with us. he has worthless foglights, i could have sworn u bought some nice chrome piaa's at car toys for your rockcrawler. so let people post what they want and dont make fun off them. if all he can afford is a body lift to get his truck in the air, so be it...even though they are a tad bit :stopit:.  so good day and enjoy

My friend has a 2 inch body lift on his 85.  But he only got it becasue he needed the cab to clear the gas tank since we put an extra cab in it, it used to be a regular cab.  His truck can prolly outwheel a ton of guys on the forum, including my toy.  Body lifts aren't alwasy a bad thing.

BLs are great.  They keep your center of gravety a lot lower than a full suspension lift.  Without my 3 inch it would have been impossible to put the 5.0 HO in my '85.  Anyway, your '90 will look great with 35's but you'll need to change your gears if you still want any power.  :beerchug:

whats the point of putting a 5.0 in a Toyota? especially if its a pickup? your talking about center of gravity, obviously your not paying attention to weaght distribution unless you have a couple of fatass girlfriends hiolding the tail end down. I still say BL's are for the poor. whats the purpose? just to fit bigger tires? you mind as well save the $200 bucks and put it towards something that'll outcrawl.

:dunno: power??  I have a body lift on my 91, and I am glad I do.  It helps with clearance, and it makes it a lot easier to work on the engine and transmission, cause i can reach through the wheelwells.   The body lift doesnt affect your CG as much as a suspension lift does, it only lifts the body, not the frame or drive train.  And yeah, body lifts may be for the poor, but A lot of the people on here arent rolling in $$.

People do what they can, witrh the cash they have, so quit being an  :moon: and grow up!

thanks for the explanation of what a body lift is, I dont think everyone understood that. I'm a senior in High School and I was able to come up with the cash, so why cant you middle aged or old farts come up with anything else?

dude why are you such an ass?????? like you said you're a senior in high school, probally still living with mommy and daddy and probally dont have any bills. Who knows, maybe you still get allowance. the middle aged and old farts as you would say probally have familys and house payments things you dont have to worry about yet. also like 90 4runner i have IFS which they only make so much lift for so we do what we can with what we got. a body lift allowed me to get the clearance i wanted and gave me the room for my 35's. so how bout you quit being rude and putting everyone down, cause we cant all be as cool as you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, lets see this middle aged or old fart is 20 years old, a full time student, paying for school, bills, rent, repairs, and other miscellaneous stuff.  College life aint cheap, and my parents help me out, but there is a lot more that I have to work for.  I work 30 hours a week and carry a 17 unit load.  Some times you have to work with what you got.  A lot of the guys on the board are in the same boat, or they have responsibilities you can only dream of right now.

This board has some really cool people who are willing to go out of their way to help others on the board, and give advice when asked.  Anyone is welcome, but if you wanna be and ass and put people down and talk crap, you need to find another place to go.  We dont want to deal with the :pokinit: because we all get on here for fun.  keep it up and when you need some ideas or suggestions, see how helpful the advice is.  The people on this board get along  well together for the most part becasue they respect each other, and dont sit there and talk :pokinit: all day.

lol, man you IFS guys get way too pissed off when people mention your body litfs. Obviously your too sensitive and ashamed that you have them to defend yourselves with such a passion, but thats ok, at least you admit their for POOR PEOPLE. I pay for more than my truck too, and no, I dont live with my parents. on my own for the past 4 months paying my own way. I'm working 65 hours a week between 3 jobs and I still pay for more than an $80 BL. I did my installs as well.

I'm done with this post, obviously the poor people with the BL's stick together in their stupidity. But at least you have each other.

Your working 65 hours a week and 3 jobs, you have the money to buy what ever you want.  Just beacuse you can buy suspension lifts and other people can't doesn't make it right to diss on body lifts.  Like yotaboy79 said.  Go to Pirate if you want to flame people.  We all know you would fit right in.
