Rear Toyota discbrake
« on: Nov 09, 2010, 03:14:57 PM »
Some days ago, I found some pics of a bracket for using early front Toy-calipers and disc in the rear. The brackets was welded, he was also selling them.
I want to buy, but I can't find them again :( Somebody that can help me??

your not an outlaw...

marlin likes to keep the distraction low?

and if you are making parts and selling them, then you are a dealer... and should not be advertising on another companies website that they pay for....
(im just assuming that this is the case?)

Maybe you should ask if you could just put a small link in your signature line? that way your not making posts to advertise?
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

Proof!

And these brackets (the ones I just linked) look sketch, I would be interested to see engineering to prove they are safe.

I would assume there are lots of companys making 14b brackets, but I am not sure what that has to do with the brackets that I linked looking sketch.

I suppose you could call me a wannabe engineer, but I prefer to know the parts I buy are safe to get my truck to and from the trail, not just from one end of the trail to the other.

Anyway the point of the post was to prove that other people out there were selling their products on the board, like THK said.

i personally dont like how thin those brackets of boggerrunners seem to be and especially using nuts to space them out.  hopefully thats just a mock up process he fixed later.

and as for them bein sketchy, they are 1/4" plate, same as daves offroad sells.
and ive got 200+ sets out there with no reports of failures and 3 yrs of testing on them too.
